For years, I carried the weight of brokenness into my relationships. Like many, I thought love meant holding on no matter what, even when it was crushing my heart. I learned the hard way that dysfunction repeats itself when the heart is wounded. 1. Learning Love God’s Way I didn’t always follow God’s design. I chased love on my own terms, thinking I could build happiness without asking Him first. But every time I went against His will, my choices left me emptier. Only when I turned back to God did I discover that love is safest when it starts with Him. 2. Facing the Pain Within I carried scars from my past — pain I didn’t speak about, rejection that cut deep, and broken trust that shaped how I loved. Those wounds created patterns of dysfunction in my marriage and relationships. Healing began when I stopped hiding and let God touch those broken places. 3. Finding Myself Before Anyone Else For a long time, I thought a relationship would “complete” me. I thought if I loved hard enough, it...

But brothers, in Christ, we have a new example of fatherhood—the perfect love of our Heavenly Father. 📖 Ephesians 6:4 says: “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” That means your role is not to tear down, but to build up. Not to repeat the pain we received, but to reflect God’s love and wisdom. A real man is not measured by how much he provides materially, but by how faithfully he leads spiritually. Your children need your prayers more than your paycheck, your presence more than your possessions. Be the man who breaks the cycle. Be the father who speaks life, who shows grace, who teaches God’s Word in both actions and words. Even if you never received it, you can give it. Many men grow up carrying wounds from absent, harsh, or broken fathers. Some never heard “ I’m proud of you .” Some never felt protected or guided. The temptation is to repeat the cycle—but it doesn’t have to end that way. Being a father is not about perfection, but presence. It’s about showing up, speaking life into your children , and leading with love . If you never had an example to follow, let your children have one in you. You may not have received the blessing, but you can give it. You may not have been covered, but you can cover your family with strength, prayer, and consistency. Every hug, every conversation, every time you choose patience over anger—you’re breaking generational chains . You’re rewriting a story. You’re building a legacy of love that will outlive you. Your past doesn’t define the father you become. Today is your chance to step up and lead differently. Be the father you always needed , and in doing so, you’ll give your children the gift of healing and hope .

 Men, life isn’t always easy, and the world often tells you to hide your struggles or “man up” in ways that leave you burdened. But true strength isn’t about silence or toughness—it’s about integrity, courage, and standing for what is right. You are created with purpose. Your actions, your words, your faith—they matter. The choices you make today shape not just your life, but the lives of those around you—your family, friends, and even future generations. Don’t be discouraged by setbacks or failures. Every challenge is a chance to grow stronger, wiser, and closer to God’s plan for you. Lead with love, discipline, and humility. Protect what is good, pursue excellence, and never settle for mediocrity. Remember, real men rise by lifting others.   From Darkness to Light There comes a moment when the weight of brokenness feels too heavy to carry. A moment when the shame of the past whispers louder than hope, and pain feels permanent. But that’s not where the story ends. In Christ, there is healing for every wound, forgiveness for every sin, and light for every dark place. He takes ashes and creates beauty. He takes rejection and restores identity. He takes the broken pieces of our lives and builds something new. I know this because I’ve lived it. I walked through valleys of pain, rejection, and hopelessness—but Jesus met me there. He didn’t just patch me up; He made me alive again. 💡 No matter what your past looks like, hear this: you don’t have to stay where you are. You don’t have to walk alone. The same God who raised Christ from the dead can raise you into a life of freedom, healing, and unshakable joy. 🔥 Today, choose life. Choose hope. Choose to be Alive in Christ.

This afternoon I just want to encourage you 😫—if you have a teenager or a young adult 😉 be open and honest with them about life’s challenges 😀. The reality is, we can’t protect our kids from everything they will see or hear. But if we give them truth, information, and guidance, we can influence the choices they make and help shift their mindsets. Tell them the truth—no sugar-coating. Because if we don’t, the world will. Most importantly, let’s raise our children 🙌 in the fear of God. Guide them to follow Him and to love going up to the house of the Lord.

Young Adults Camp | 19–21 September 2025 This past weekend we had the privilege of going on a Young Adults Camp—and wow, it was amazing to see how God moved! 🙌 The Holy Spirit led every moment, guiding the leaders, including myself, as we poured into the lives of these young adults.
