Devotional: We Are Called ๐Ÿ’ž

Why God Called Us God doesn’t call us by accident. He calls us because He sees potential in us that the world often overlooks. He calls us to live a life full of purpose, impact, and faith. ๐Ÿ“– “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” – Ephesians 2:10 ✨ Why He Calls Us: 1. To Reflect His Glory – We are called to live in a way that shows His love, grace, and goodness to others. 2. To Fulfill Purpose – God has specific assignments for each of us, and He equips us to accomplish them. 3. To Bring Change – Our lives can be instruments of healing, hope, and transformation in the lives of others. 4. To Draw Closer to Him – Calling is also about relationship. God calls us to walk intimately with Him, trusting Him in every season. ๐Ÿ’ก Reflection: Being called by God is not about being perfect; it’s about being willing. He doesn’t call the equipped, He equips the called. ๐Ÿ™ Prayer: Lord, thank You for calling me. Help ...

Motivational: Healing Needs Truth ♡♡♡

Speaking the Truth to Truth ✨ The woman who bled for 12 years knew what it meant to lose everything—her health, her money, her dignity, even her place in society. But when she touched the hem of Jesus’ garment, she didn’t hide anymore. She spoke the truth. She admitted her condition, her pain, her desperation. And what happened? Truth Himself—Jesus—set her free. To be healed, you must first be honest. Healing begins when we open our mouths and confess: “Lord, I’m broken.” “Lord, I’ve lost so much.” “Lord, I need You.” We can’t receive wholeness while pretending we’re fine. But when we speak the truth to Truth Himself (God), chains break, shame lifts, and healing flows. ๐Ÿ•Š️  ✨ Healing Without Truth Is Pointless ✨ The woman with the issue of blood didn’t just touch Jesus and run away. She came trembling, fell at His feet, and told Him the whole truth (Mark 5:33). Why? Because healing without truth is pointless. You can’t hide what’s broken and expect to be made whole. God doesn...

Devotional: Healed But Broken ๐Ÿ’” In Your Mind ๐Ÿค”

All About Women  Empower Her TLC Foundation   There are moments when you realize you’ve survived the worst storms of your life. The pain didn’t destroy you. The betrayal didn’t define you.  The abuse didn’t have the last word. You know deep down that you are healed — but your mind still wrestles with the memories. Healing does not always mean forgetting. Sometimes the body, spirit, and even your smile look whole, but inside your mind, broken pieces still echo what was lost. Thoughts replay what you endured, and you wonder if you are truly free. ✨ Recently, I went to an Empower Her ladies’ evening on behalf of the TLC Foundation, and it was so powerful. The word I took for myself was this: I am healed but broken in my mind. It brought me to tears because it is so true. We are healed, yet we think about all we faced or went through. That word was for me in this season. Yes, the “what ifs” come. Yes, I ask questions — because I am human...

Devotional: Why Does It Hurt ?

Scripture: “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” – Psalm 147:3 Pain is part of life, but it is not permanent. Sometimes we feel hurt because of loss, betrayal, or disappointment. God allows our struggles not to punish us, but to teach us, strengthen us, and draw us closer to Him. When it hurts, don’t hide from your feelings. Bring them to God in prayer. Let Him heal what is broken and give you peace that surpasses understanding. Reflection Questions What is causing me pain today? How can I invite God into this hurt? Prayer Lord, I bring my pain to You. Heal my heart and help me trust You through every trial. Give me courage to move forward and hope for tomorrow. Amen.
