Devotional: Building Godly Relationships

Scripture:

“Do not be misled: ‘Bad company corrupts good character.’” – 1 Corinthians 15:33 (NIV)

💭 Reflection

Relationships shape who we are becoming. Whether friendships, dating, or marriage, the people we allow close to our hearts will either draw us closer to God or pull us away from Him.

A godly relationship is not about perfection—it is about direction. Are the people in your life helping you walk in God’s purpose? Do your conversations reflect Christ’s love, truth, and grace? Godly relationships are marked by honesty, respect, and a commitment to grow together in faith.

When Christ is the foundation, relationships become safe spaces where love is patient, forgiveness is offered, and prayers are lifted up together . ❤️

This doesn’t mean conflict never comes, but it means you handle it God’s way—with humility, wisdom, and peace.

🙏 Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of relationships. Teach me to love others in a way that honors You. Remove from my life any relationship that distracts me from Your will, and surround me with people who will encourage, uplift, and sharpen me. May my friendships, family ties, and future relationships reflect Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
